Tuzik AI for iPhone and iPad · Last updated 18 October 2026

Tuzik AI is a drawing coach for children and beginners. We collect as little as we can, keep what we can on your device, and never sell anything to anybody. This page says what leaves the device, where it goes, and how to erase it.

Who we are

Tuzik AI is an independent app made by a parent. There is no advertising business behind it. For any question about this policy, write to genue.luben@gmail.com.

There is no account

Tuzik AI has no sign-up, no login and no password. The app makes one random identifier on first launch. It is a string of random characters with no link to your name or email address. It keeps a purchase attached to your install, and it lets the usage measurement below count one install once.

What stays on the device

These items are kept in the app's private storage on your iPhone or iPad:

What leaves the device, and why

The app asks for your permission before it shares anything with its AI services. If you choose Not Now, the AI features stay off. Here is every trip:

DataGoes toPurpose
The drawing idea you say or type, the artist's age and language, and a photo you choose to make a lesson from Our lesson service (Supabase), Google Gemini, fal.ai, and OpenAI as a backup To draw the three options and the four-step guide
Finished lessons: the idea, the age band and the pictures the app drew (not your own photo) Our lesson service (Supabase) To keep the lesson, and, after we review it, to offer it to other artists in Inspiration
Speech while you hold the talk button, and camera images when you use a camera feature LiveKit (real-time transport) and Google Gemini To hear you, look at a drawing, and answer in Tuzik's voice
The artist's name or nickname, age, language and favourite things Google Gemini, through the live session To greet the artist and pick fitting ideas
The random install identifier and the purchase receipt Apple and RevenueCat To record what you bought and restore it on a new device
If you installed the app from an ad in App Store search: Apple's attribution token Apple and RevenueCat To see which ad campaign led to the install. Apple gives no personal data with it
App usage events and screen recordings of the app (see below), with the random install identifier, the app version and the device type PostHog (analytics, hosted in the European Union) To find where the app is confusing or broken, and fix it
A message you write to us from Settings, an optional reply address, and the app version Our message service (Supabase), which emails it to us To read and answer your message

Live speech and camera images are processed as they arrive. Tuzik AI does not store the audio. The services above process the data only to give the feature you use. Under the paid API terms we use them on, they do not use it to train their models.

How we measure the app

To make Tuzik AI better, we use PostHog, an analytics service on servers in the European Union. It receives named events such as "the tour reached step 5", "a lesson was made" or "a plan was bought", with the random install identifier.

PostHog also makes session recordings: a replay of what appeared on the app's screens and where you tapped, so we can see where people get stuck. Because the app is about drawing, a recording can show what the app shows: the pictures, the guides, the camera view and drawings on screen, and text typed into the app. We keep recordings for 30 days and then they are deleted. Only the maker of the app can watch them.

Usage data and recordings are not linked to your name, are not used for advertising, and are not shared with anyone for that purpose. Tuzik AI does not use Apple's advertising identifier and does not track you across other apps or websites.

Who we do not send data to

Children

Tuzik AI is made for children to draw with and for a parent to control. A parent sets the app up. Purchases and links out of the app sit behind a parent gate, and Tuzik never asks a child to buy anything. We follow the United States Children's Online Privacy Protection Act (COPPA) and the European General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR). If you want anything your child shared removed, write to genue.luben@gmail.com and we delete it.

Permissions the app asks for

How to delete everything

Open Settings inside the app and use Reset All Data. This erases the profile, the museum and the settings on the device. Deleting the app removes the same data. Purchases stay with your Apple Account, so you can restore them. To delete a lesson or recording kept on our side, write to us with the date and we delete it.

Your rights

You can ask what data we hold, ask for a copy, and ask us to delete it. Because there is no account, tell us roughly when you used the app and on which device. Write to genue.luben@gmail.com and we answer within 30 days.

Changes to this policy

If the app starts to handle data in a new way, we update this page and the date at the top. Continued use after a change means you accept the new version.
